Title X Family Planning Clinic
Services
Established in 1971, the Family Planning Program has served well over 50,000 women of all ages who span the reproductive life cycle. Its mission is to provide comprehensive, women-specific, reproductive health care that empowers women to make informed decisions regarding their reproductive choices and rights. All available contraceptive methods are provided with an emphasis on abstinence education. Equally important, Family Planning acts as a gatekeeper to other necessary health services by providing preventive medical care to women, including breast exams, mammography, PAP smears, STD screenings along with other tests that screen for common health problems in women.
Clinic Location
The Family Planning clinic at MetroSouth Hospital is located on the third floor of the Pavilion building at 2310 York Street, Blue Island, IL 60406.
Clinic Hours
- Monday 9 AM to 7 PM
- Tuesday thru Friday 9 AM to 5 PM
- A scheduled clinic is held on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
